The Last Supper/Setting Apart

Tonight was Brooke's last dinner here at home. Tomorrow she will be heading up to Utah for a few last minute items before entering the MTC on Wednesday. For a bit of fun, Brooke's mom made a German feast full of sauerkraut, sausage, schnitzel, and more. The food was delicious!

President Spendlove also came to the house to set Brooke apart. He started by sharing a message about why missionaries receive their endowments before their mission rather than waiting until marriage. He shared some scriptures and taught us that Brooke received her endowment first because the covenants she made in the temple will provide her with power and protection throughout her mission that would not have otherwise been available to her. After the message, President Spendlove gave the blessing. Brooke's dad and brother got to participate.

We are so proud of Brooke (or Sister Terry, as many will now know her) for the decisions she has made to serve a mission and her commitment to stick by that decision! Good luck, Brooke!
